I love these lights. Attached 6 of them to the fence in the back yard. The motion detector turns the light on when the dogs run around the back yard after dark.  Perfect for when me & the dogs are out at night.

Back yard solar lights

Love these lights. I bought mine 3 years ago, and they still work well. I did have issues with water, but its still working. I plan to reseal it. I would love to have one that you could adjust the length of time they come on, but I still give it 5 stars. I was hoping it would last a year--3 years later works perfectly.

Great light. Because it’s solar powered, the insulation was easy for a remote location on my property.

Lights up a large area seems to be very sturdy made.

Well lit!

Short version: light output is amazing, super bright and can cover a large area. Hinge section of the mount sucks, teeth stripped and light sags. Actual light is durable. 


Long version: I installed this light over our pig yard hoping to illuminate their feed area. Puts out enough light to illuminate the 50' x 50' with a lot to spare. I do wish it stayed on longer after activated, but if you stay moving it stays on. 

The only flaw I've found is the hinge part of the mount. The little teeth stripped letting the light flip forward. I was going to take a star off, but recent weather knocked the light off it's pole (the plastic hinge part cracked). The light spent two whole days submerged in flooded pig muck. I expected it to be a goner. Rinsed off the dried muck and set it in the sun to dry. Guess what, it still works! 

I've spent ten times the amount on cheap solar motion lights. You can get lucky and find one that lasts, but most die after the first big rain. This one is not like the others. 

Conclusion: This light is worth the money. You may have to get creative with mounting if your hinge strips. I plan on trying their other light options to see if they are as great.

Has minor flaws but the performance is worth it!

This Solar Security Light does NOT stay on 8-10 hours as described above. It tunrs on when motion is activated and only stays on for 30 seconds.  This light is OFF with NO light whatsoever unless motion activated. We read the description and the description says it stays lit for 8-10hours and we assumed it actually stays lit for 8-10 hours. This is a POOR security light as security lights are turned on to keep areas lit.

i purchased 3 of this lights and 2 already on the ground. the lights would not hold more than 4 months. purchased on sept 2025 and its the end of december. 
they brake by the end of the light where the bracket attached and could not be repaired.

initially I thought it was so great.  Very bright %26 lit up the areas I needed.  Then the started falling.  no matter how tight you made them, the teeth do not hold.  So disappointed

Very disappointing

Bought 3 of them, one stopped after 1 year and rest of them are ok but all 3 of them are hanging like bats after few months because the base made with cheap plastic with very thin thickness!

Decent light

Base was not strong enough to hold the light when mounted to the building. Company sent email stating they will send a replacement but was out of stock, never heard anotjer word from them.
