This taste like the old Land o Lakes that I bought a number of years ago. I am finishing off the last container. This brand does not have the chocolate pieces in it that never melt. Other then that it seem identical in flavor. If you want a plain premium hot coco mix this is it. Much better then Swiss Miss.

This is the best hot cocoa you will ever have, but it's not in stores in the South. Thank you for delivering it to my door Sam's Club!

Stephen's Hot Cocoa is the best

I don't go hunting down hot chocolate to find the best. However, I've tasted several and so far, Stephen's is the best brand I've had

Good Stuff

The product has very good taste, almost the same as Swiss Miss.  However, since this purchase of three canisters was shipped via FedEx and came from Ohio, the canisters were placed on their sides, there was no packing material whatsover, and all three canisters arrived with the tops off of the canisters.  The total spilled into the shipping box from the three containers was about one full container.  Cocoa powder was falling out of the flaps and was really a mess  Had the cardboard canisters been packed standing upright instead of on their sides, and had packing or airbags been used to prevent movement in shipping, the spillage most likely would not have happened.  The bottom of the shipping container was an absolute mess.  Quality and taste of the product is excellent, but the lack of thoughtful packing spoiled this purchase experience.

Other reviewers appear to have experienced the same problem with packing for shipping.

The product itself is satisfactory; however, there was a significant issue with the delivery. Unfortunately, one of the items arrived at my home with a missing seal and had been opened. Despite reaching out to Sams twice, I have yet to receive any communication from them. This situation has raised concerns about the safety of using the opened hot chocolate, as it is uncertain whether the product may have been tampered with. While I understand that unforeseen incidents can happen, it is disappointing that the packing team did not notice the lack of a seal on the affected item, especially when compared to the properly sealed ones. I had hoped for a more timely and proactive response from Sams in addressing this issue.

Missing seal

Packaging change to plastic just when the world is learning about the health detriment of plastic. Won’t purchase again unless they return to their old packaging.

Contains Carrageenan and lots of strange tasting sweeteners. I like sweet, but this has a strange taste to it. I even prefer Swiss Miss to this. Not worth buying even to try. Planning on tossing it. I normally don't do that, but this is, in my opinion, unpleasant tasting and not worth forcing myself to use. Don't need to keep another container of something I will never use simply because I spent $ on it.

Tastes Strange. Is Not What I Thought It Would Be.

This product is mostly sugar and chemical byproducts. Not  good purchase if you’re looking fo coco not chocolate.
