Exactly as described. We needed to replace an older one. We keep a pillow and toys there for our mini-schnauzer. It’s a good stairway to our bed for her. It holds all of her toys, and matches my headboard.

Perfect for style and storage

I was looking for something my dog could use jumping on and off my bed. This works well for that plus the storage is a bonus. I’ve been using it for a place to sit and put on my shoes.

Perfect for bench in foyer and great storage. Top is padded. I have the smaller size as well, but it is not padded as well.

Very Sturdy!

Nice, sturdy ottoman. I was surprised because of how light they seemed when folded up. Once opened, they were nice and sturdy. I returned mine because the gray was darker than what was shown on the internet (could have been how my monitor displayed the colors) and did not go with my furniture.

The value of this simple storage ottoman is unbeatable. I wasn't expecting much for $35 but it surpasses my expectations. The construction is fabric over some kind of fiberboard like MDF and of course it arrives folded with all pieces inside the lid. The bottom of the ottoman is fabric and there is a fabric covered board that sits inside to give the interior rigidity. (this means if you have heavy items inside you really need to unload the ottoman first before moving it.) Sitting on it for short periods is comfortable. You can feel the sides shift if you sit on it and move in a direction. But it's solid enough for light use - just don't allow a kid to jump on the top or subject it to heavy impacts.
