These work well, but the battery level indicators on both of them are fickle. They say they’re full until they don’t; so you always have to have a way to charge them or carry extra batteries because the indicators falsely show a full battery until they’re dead. Other than that, they work well - good range and we’ve dropped ours in water a few times without ill result.

Recommended, but read battery comments, pls.

Simple to use. Picked them because they were rated at 5 watts. I do wish they had usb c charging. Still need to test them in the field to see how they really perform. Midland make a good product.

Disappointed For the price Range , quality, and Clarity of sound

I purchased 12 of these Two-Way Radios and only 6 of them worked.  I did contact the company and I had to send them back to them at my cost to get them replaced.  Still waiting for the new ones to come in.  The ones I have work great, and I'm hoping the new ones will too.

I’m returning them. They’re worse than my 20yr old 2ways. They have a high pitched noise that comes in when they are more than 10ft apart, and it doesn’t matter what channel or settings…. It won’t go away. My old radios get clearer reception from farther away than these do.

arrived dead. which is not uncommon until i found charges only last 10-15 minutes 🤔  
definitely seems like they are super old battery packs. only able to use with AA batteries which completely defeats the purpose of buying a rechargeable radio......

It might be great if you’re in the desert or hunting but doesn’t work in the city or rural areas unless you’re literally less than 100 yards from the other handheld radio! Trust me I tried everything imaginable from the 38 mile range advertised - in my car and on foot, between the Dallas/FtWorth Area!  
The “fine print” states that it’s straight line communications vs city. That’s misleading from the packaging and online advertisements ....
