Cooking Deep: 24 Quarts of Sous Vide Perfection

I like to make large batches of soup, spaghetti sauce, etc. Then we can those goods. I bought one of these pots recently because I wanted a bigger vessel to cook in. After using it once I immediately ordered a second. This is an extremely high-quality pot.  It is very thick and sturdy and heats very evenly, so that things do not burn. Very very well constructed and easy to clean. I absolutely would recommend this for anyone who loves to do large batch cooking.

Great for canning!

This is an awesome pot! We cooked a huge gumbo to feed our crew for the SEC championship game.  It was plenty big enough to hold all ingredients.  The Tigers weren’t the only winner that day! Geaux Tigers!

Great Gumbo Pot

I’m always so hesitant to buy the pots from just anywhere because normally they are so expensive and depending where you buy the quality is always questionable until you use it. The price was so cheap for the size , it was definitely worth a try. This is a great buy! I’m always such a big advocate for Sam’s, anytime my family or myself ,see something we want to buy, I always search to see if Sam’s has it first. They never disappoint!

Great Quality for the price.  I was pleased with this and glad that I bought it. I was able to fit two rows of canning jars in when I did pints. The lid fits snuggly, and it is heavy material much better than some of the other pots that I have purchased, which were flimsy.

This pot is great and the price is really good for the size. I was about to order one smaller and much higher. I'm very glad I checked with Sam's first.

I took a 15 Lb. turkey, onions, garlic, and boiled it for soup broth.  Later added carrots, onions, bok choy, celery, red potatoes, parsley.  Deboned the turkey, BEST soup ever. 20 people ate

Very nice; but unless I have a 70 lb Lobster or about 25 1 /4 pounders, I do not know what to do with it.  My mistake; but I will keep it . . . Just do not know where to put it.

I like it!

The pot is a perfect size. However, upon further research stainless steel is better. I kept trying to clean this one before use and it kept showing a gray matter (remnants of aluminum) on the papertowel when drying. I researched further and I found out that you have to boil water in it first and I wasn't going through all that. So I returned it unused. I bought a stainless steel stock pot and I recommend Sam's offer a stainless steel stock pot in the store. Also, include directions with the Aluminum pot so people know what how to prep the pot before use.

Stainless or Aluminum? You decide.

Returned as it is aluminum and was going to use also for cooking down the tomatoes but you just do not want to use aluminum with tomatoes or other vegetables, rather stainless steel.  Also I returned it as I found a better canning pot for a better price.  I bought this for a canning pot.
