This is my second mini for a second car installation. First one has been in the other car for 5 years with no issues at all. I like the fact that it's tiny and inconspicuous. I don't need a screen on the camera because you can watch and transfer the video using the Garmin app. Good value for the money.

Easy to install. User friendly phone app. Adequate range of view. Use Garmin website for recommended memory card brands and corresponding recording times.

Good investment

Video quality is good.
The size is good.
Don’t expect to get video off the app in less than ten minutes.
Will interfere with CarPlay but it has settings to help prevent this. 
Why don’t all modern cars have built in dash cams? 
After many dash cams this is well above the average.

Fairly easy to install. Does not come with an SD card. Don’t like the permanent stick on holder. Bought a suction cup holder an extra $25.00 ridiculous. This dash cam does not mesh well with the app. As a matter of fact only one time out of multiple times. 
Live view happened once or twice after asking multiple times to connect to cam. 
As far as reviewing footage forget about it. 
I ordered a USB drive adapter with a micro SD card input for my iMac. 
Supposedly I’ll be able to review it there. 
As per you tube I tried connecting it directly to my iPhone and tried to download to folder app. 
No luck !
If the adapter doesn’t work then I’m returning everything. It’s not worth the money.

I've owned this for a month now, and still cannot connect to it on my smart phone (iphone 16).  I have tried everything and the closest I get is it showing video thumbnails, but, of course, they will not play as connectivity is not there.
I bought this to replace a Vofio based on the small size. But small size is no good if it cannot connect.  Yes, I can remove the card and view on a computer, but the mount is so senstive, you are never sure of the angle of capture as you really need to see what is being recorded with the card in.  Garmin is a known brand, but they offer a low-quality product in this instance.

Not viable due to significant connectivity issues.

Was never able to download a saved video to my iPhone.  Would never connect to the dash cam wi-fi.  Absolutely no value at all without being able offload videos to a playable device.  Want to send this back.

Don't waste your money

Manual that came with the dash cam was so small it was unreadable. Went on the web site and was unable to locate the online version.
