never had a vacuum like or since my 1st DYSON VACUUM. Can't be beat,I'M still using my 1st one purchased over 10 tears ago I believe and have another i purchsed because the price was great,haven't had to use number 2 yet,then I seen this one at SAM'S CLUB for such a wonderful price and deal I couldn't resist it. Now the absolutely proud owner of 3,still using the 1st one and going strong. EASIEST maintenance EVER,ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY DYSON BALL ANIMAL!

I love Dyson Vacs. I've had my animal ball 2 for 12 years; purchased it in 2013 and it's still going. I figured I purchase a newer Dyson vac to get a jump on things incase my old one finally goes out. Found it at Sam's for a great price. I prefer the upright instead of the stick vacs.

Long Lasting

My 2nd Dyson.  I’m a pretty big Dyson fan generally (hair dryer, vacuums), so when my old dyson finally sucked up its last small area rug and killed the motor, it was a no brainer that I would replace it with another.  Price at Sam’s Club was unbeatable.  The newer dyson is lighter than the old one without sacrificing suction/power.  Like the 3 settings which can control the suction mire than my ladt model.  Overall, I’m pleased!

Great Suction

So I had this version of the Dyson vacuum nearly 8 years ago. This one is made so cheaply in comparison. It’s clunky to try and use the hose with attachments and the actual tube feels cheap and thin. It’s still the best for suction power but the materials and built are far inferior to the original model I had.

Great suction, poor quality materials

First-Dyson makes a product that really vacuums well. But, this machine was very heavy and hard to push. It reminded me of pushing my Kirby without the automatic drive engaged-kind of like pushing a mower without using the auto drive to help relieve the resistance.  I returned it -just too hard on my shoulder to push.

Too heavy for me

This vacuum is so strong and powerful. It has so much suction that I can’t use it in my house on the floors . I have wood floors with rugs and it’s so strong it won’t push on the rugs. Most vacuums have an adjustment for maximum to minimum suction but this one doesn’t have it. I can’t push it. It works great using the wand/hose for corners and ceilings.

Incredibly powerful.

I have owned a Dyson for 10 years, best vacumn ever.  Thought it was time to get a new one.  Dyson is not the same company it once was.  Like all the other reviews the head kept falling off.  I read the reviews, maybe a bad batch so I took the chance.  Once it happened 3 times within 15 minutes, I took it apart and returned it.  Standing in line the man in front of me also had the same problem.  I will not recommend Dyson anymore.

Dyson is no longer a great vacumn

My Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 vacuum stopped working properly so I purchased the new Animal 3.  The new vacuum was fine on the tile floor however almost impossible to push on the carpeting. It also would not lock in the upright position when moving it from room to room.  Dyson sent me an easy push head that was supposed to fix both problems.  It was a LITTLE better in locking in the upright position and still difficult to push on carpeting.  Dyson said I could take it to a "Dyson" store (only 2 in the state of Florida) or pack it up and ship to the one in Ft. Lauderdale.  They did provide a shipping label.
I was notified of the arrival of the vacuum at Dyson and also when they returned it.  I believe they had it for about 30 minutes.  The machine was returned to me quickly however it was no different than before.  I called Dyson and there is nothing else they can do. They did offer me a 20% discount on another vacuum.  Needless to say, I am no longer a Dyson fan. I returned the vacuum.

Extremely disappointing

Would not recommend this vacuum. I reached out to Dyson, I was surprised at the quality of this vacuum.  I have short pile carpet and tile floors and after several passes-this vacuum would not pick up minor debris.

Worst vacuum I have ever purchased. I returned.

The handle is not stable. It feels like it’s going to break the round cylinder next to the wheels as you push it forward and pull it back it squeaks it doesn’t feel like a solid vacuum. The plastic parts are not sturdy.
