I’m really happy with these solar spotlights! The detached solar panel is such a smart design, it gave me the flexibility to place the lights exactly where I wanted while keeping the panel in full sun. Installation was quick and very easy.They give off a beautiful, soft glow that makes my landscaping and fence area look so much nicer at night. They’re not harsh or overly bright — just the perfect accent lighting. On sunny days they last well into the evening, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for simple, attractive outdoor lighting.

Simple, attractive outdoor lighting.

I recently purchased the Solar Spotlight Set of 4 with Detached Solar Panel (RGBW), and overall I'm very impressed. The detached solar panel is a huge advantage because it allows you to place the lights exactly where you want them while positioning the panel in the sunniest spot for maximum charging. This flexibility makes a big difference compared to traditional all-in-one solar lights.
The RGBW color options are vibrant and fun. I love that you can switch between steady white light and multiple color modes, including color-changing settings. It's perfect for everyday landscape lighting, but also great for holidays or special occasions when you want something more festive. The lights automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn, which makes them convenient and low maintenance.
Installation was simple and straightforward. They feel sturdy, and the weatherproof design holds up well outdoors. Brightness is good for accent lighting around trees, pathways, or garden features, though they are not as powerful as wired spotlights.
Overall, this set offers great value, flexibility, and style. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor space with solar-powered lighting.

Very nice solar lights!

These small spotlights perform really well, have far better build quality than I was expecting, and include some features that take this to a 5-star rating.  First off, the housings for the spotlights are a smooth black metal, which was the biggest surprise...I thought they'd be lightweight, cheap plastic.  Same goes for the swivel bracket that attaches each light onto its own plastic stake.  Those materials, along with the thick and very clear lens covers, make this instantly feel like a more robust and high-quality product.  It was super easy getting these set up, with all four spotlights daisy chained to each other before reaching the solar panel that holds the rechargeable battery.  The length of the wiring between each spotlight was nice, so that we could spread them out effectively in a rock area with raised planters in our front yard (see picture with review).  The stakes are a thick plastic that didn't bend or wobble when inserting them into the dirt, and then we were able to easily hide the thin wiring underneath the rock for a clean look.  Each spotlight can be angled on its metal bracket attached to the stake (or mounted with included screws directly to a fence/wall), giving you full control over where the light shines.  The solar panel itself also feels well-built and works effectively to charge the included battery...but the best part about the panel is that it can also be plugged via a standard USB-C cable into an outlet!  You can easily charge up the batteries to their maximum regardless of how much sunlight you're getting.  That feature alone makes this so much better than these types of solar spotlights typically are and provides maximum flexibility.  It's simple to slide the panel off the stake and unscrew the wiring connection to plug the panel in for charging when needed, removing any and all worry about the product being bricked during periods of weak sunlight.  The included remote enables you to select different colors, brightness levels, and lighting patterns...again, more feature-heavy than I was expecting from this product.  The remote works reasonably well, as long as you have a sight line to the solar panel that houses the controller, though the lights can also be controlled directly via buttons on the bottom of the solar panel.  Lastly, and most importantly, is the actual light produced by these.  The various colors and brightness levels are great, as seen in the pictures below, even with substantial ambient lighting from street lights, porch lights, etc.  We have them pointed at our raised planters in our front yard, which currently don't have plants/flowers yet for the upcoming spring season, and they light them up nicely.  We'll point them up a bit further once we get things planted for the season, which is easily possible with those swivel brackets.  Overall, we are very pleasantly surprised with this entire product and highly recommend it!

Great solar lights; nice build quality, lighting

The Deck Impressions Solar Spot Light Set I received arrived well packaged with clear instructions included.  I wish the remote had come with batteries.   I was impressed with the quality of this set, I liked the heavy duty cords for the unit. I placed the lights by our dock, the lights are beautiful and vibrant  in the dark, I appreciated the many options on the remote, the color changing options aren't something I've seen in other solar light sets. I found that while I liked how durable the cords were, I found them difficult to work with. The cords are hard to hide in the landscape. Not an issue at night but during the day I don't like the look of them, which is the only reason I didn't give the lights 5 stars. Overall I'm very happy with them.

Love the vibrant colors!

The outdoor solar spot light set from Deck Impressions, is a little smaller than I expected. I think it will be a nice set to have. It is still cold where I am, so I have not had a chance to get it outside and working. I am hoping that even though it is smaller that the lights will be bright. I plan to use it to line the front of my house. I do like that it comes with a remote so I can change up the colors easily and use the other functions without having to go outside to do it. I am curious to see how long the battery will last once charged and over days when it is overcast outside.

Solar spot lights

Easy to assemble and operate, but fell short of expectations. The lights at first did not come on after being up all day. Had to charge the base first before use. Once the charged lights came on, but they were not bright enough. There is also the issue of length. These must be in proximity to each other. Not much length.

Ok, but would not recommend.

Felt like quality products that were well built. I like the options the lights and remote offered.  I was super excited to try them out.  Sadly disappointed in strength of the lights.  They weren't bright enough to illuminate trees, bushes and flowers like I thought they would.  I tried it charged up and on direct power.

Disappointed output

We were extremely excited about these lights, but were quickly disappointed. The lights themselves are fairly bright and the colors are fun. The downside, the cord between each light is sort limiting what you are able to do with them. The solar panel also doesn’t seem to charge them well even though we have it in the AZ sun majority of the day. The lights seem to function randomly so we never know if they will be on or not.

Minds of their own

I was very excited to try out these cools lights. We got the lights and installed them in the front yard. We only had a little of sunlight left at this point but the lights did turn on for a little bit that night. I assumed they didn't have long enough to charge so I decided to wait till the next night to take a photo. Unfortunately, the lights have failed to turn on again. If Sam's Club sends me a replacement, I will submit another review.

Disappointed, lights didn't work.

The lights only worked for 2 nights. There's been plenty of sun, and the solar panel faces south to get maximum exposure. I've made sure that the unit is on, but the lights don't come on at night. I'm also struggling to get the remote to work from a distance. If I have to be close to the unit, I might as well just use the panel buttons. I really had high hopes for these lights, but they are not working as expected. They were very easy to assemble and install.
