I really like these lights. They cast the downward light I wanted with minimal installation. I do wish they were offered in other colors. Our gutters and trim are charcoal and the white was never going to work. We painted them and they look great but it would have been nice to skip this step.

Nice light that requires little effort

These lights are great on my patio. If it was a bright sunny day the lights will make it through the night. A cloudy day will be in the 4-6 hour range.

The only negative about this product is that you will probably have to cut your gutter guards if you have them on your gutters.  The gutter guards that I have are the type sold at big box hardware stores.    I was not willing to do that so I returned the lights.  My fault as I did not think about the gutter guard issue before purchase.   I did put the lights on the ground all day to charge ahead of time to test out the longevity of the light and then I brought them inside to see how long they would remain lighted.  I was very impressed in that the sunny side lights stayed on for 12 hours in a dark room and the shady side lights stayed on for 8 hours in a dark room.  Of course, this is late May in New Jersey on a bright and sunny day.  I would  not expect the winter time performance to be as long.  The lights seem to be made well.  When the batteries no longer work, you should be aware that they require special batteries which cost about $6 to $8 each.  Sam's does not carry them but they are readily available online.

Great Product Unless Gutter Guards Present

Bought these for the patio. Love that they are solar.  Only get about 4 hours out of the ones on the patio so very disappointing because I still have to turn on the patio light for my dog when she goes out after they turn off. They install on the gutters at a slant. Would get more sun if they had the ability to be installed upright instead of at a slant. Would return but bought 30 of them for the front of the house, garage and patio. Front of the house stays on longer, about 5 hours, so the more sun they get, the longer they last, but no where near advertised. Wish also they didn't come in white. Who wants to paint them? Not me with 30 of them. Keeping them because of the install labor but wish they had been as advertised.

Solar lights

my first purchase the lights were great. The second time I bought these (cause I really liked the first 6) one light came without a battery and another light had a loose solar panel.  Tried to contact the company for help to solve the problems but never heard back from them. Sam's can you help?

So I love these lights for the fact of easy install and how they look. But it claims that it lasts 8 hours, and that is simply not true. The charge only lasts about 4. I've checked every night and it dosent seem to go past 12:30. I'm still deciding if I'm going to return. Just wanted to warn someone else before perchance. Hope this helps.
